Pictures 19 and 20 are very powerful Heather. You really captured both the energy of the band and the ambiance. I am so impressed with these and the other pictures I have seen lately. You are destined to be seen my many. PEACE
Hi Heather, I am truly floored by your photos which exhibit a rare energy and clarity of vision... maybe it helps that I'm an old Dead fan from way back, but I just looked through all your older posts and they all contain an uncontained energy and focus... you are a remarkable photographer...
Did you see the New York Times story on 10 April "Bring Out Your Dead" ? If not, it is here :

And in that story there's a link to a reader submitted page of Grateful Dead related photos (I uploaded 7 photos in there) :

Hope you don't mind that I signed in to follow your blog, can't wait to see what's coming next.
If you have a minute, please feel free to look through my blog, I have done several past posts with Grateful Dead or Santana photos, among much other stuff. Just did a short piece on Jackson Browne's Paris concert last Monday night.
Also, I wonder, if it ok with you, may I use one of your Dead photos here to do a short piece about you, in which I would like to encourage other bloggers to come and look at your work ? I would of course make it very clear where the photo came from. My blog may not be the most popular blog in the world, but there are a few people coming regularly, including some other Dead fans who I know would love to see your work...
Best regards ! Owen
PS I agree with Aaron, you are indeed destined to be seen by many!
excellent! I read the same article that Owen linked to when it originally printed in the nyt. interesting reading...
