Grace Potter 06.25.09

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
played last night FOR FREE at the lovely Albany Riverfront Park at the Corning Preserve as part of the Alive at Five concert series. She and her band rocked the house, although I have yet to add band photos as I am a big believer in 'less is more' when it comes to photo editing. These portraits stood out, and I didn't want to water them down. A gallery will follow soon enough. Potter's stage presence, command of a Hammond B3 and band chemistry were beyond impressive and completely captivating.

PS wow, double wow, don't know how I'd missed her until now, I guess living in France doesn't help... she is GREAT. The version of Cortez on YouTube is fantabulous.

How lucky you are to see all these folks at close range !
